Specific Objectives:

• to make students aware of the theories behind the teaching of English as a Foreign Language(EFL), and to prepare them for their first teaching experiences in the classroom.
• to use the cource as the guidlines to help trainees get the most from observing experienced teachers in class, and classroom activities.

This pre-service training course material represents a first response to the need to reform the ways in which students are currently being prepared to teach English in Georgian schools .

The results of the study showed that young teachers had not been equipped in their pre-service training.
