ETTO -English teacher training online

British Council is starting a new project which is called ETTO -English teacher training online. This is a completely innovative kind of training when you get training and virtually participate in discussions and activities any time of the day you want and from any place wherever you have access to Internet.

The training starts on 15 January and lasts for 3 months.

There will be only 3 face to face meetings in Tbilisi: Before the training starts, about 10 January, after the training finishes and for certification, about end April, and in the middle of the project - about end February. At all other times you work independently from homes.

This is an excellent training course designed by the British Council Turkey and widely used in Turkey and Europe. This course will also be international as the participants will be working virtually with the participants from the countries from the Black Sea region.

And one more: This is the course for those who teach young learners age 5-12. All the activities, tasks, etc. are oriented on this, so those who want to participate either has to be teaching the young learners or be interested in the matter, otherwise this might turn not very interesting, although the style and the techniques of online teaching/learning/training is forward looking and the future holds for it.

There is one essential requirement for those who want to participate:

Good knowledge of computer skills and a reliable internet connection.
