Teach English - Our Global Home. The aim of the project is to get English teachers acquainted with a very interesting and rich teaching material, offered by the website: www.teachingenglish.orgh.uk. The site has been developed by the British Council and BBC experts and it offers everything modern English teacher need: classroom activities for developing reading, speaking, listening and writing skills; lesson plans, professional articles, tips for using literature in the classroom; also opportunities to participate in blogs, discussions and other interactive activities; tips for using podcasts and videos in the classroom and many, many more.

The first training for practising English teachers was held in school 51 on 1 November 08. Tbilisi as well as regional English teachers participated. This will be followed by a number of workshops and trainings. The number of English language teachers who will get the training on using the English language teaching material offered by www.teachingenglish.org.uk  will by the end of March reach 400. A gmail group was created by the Ministry of Education which makes it possible for teachers to interact during the whole project period.
