Tuesday, February 9 2010 online teacher training course, which has been designed and initiated by the ELT experts in the British Council Turkey office. The course virtually connects teachers from the Black Sea region –Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine.Georgian teachers of English are given the opportunity to get involved in a completely innovative project and improve their practical teaching skills through online programmes and assignments. The start up meeting of the project was held in Tbilisi, Hotel Radisson on January 9. Participating teachers from Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori, Rustavi, Ozurgeti and Sachkhere were invited to get acquainted with the general layout and peculiarities of this online course. Priority for participation in this project was given exclusively to ETAG members. The project finishes in April, 2010. Successful candidates will be certified.
